Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Gardain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
