Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a Marshal first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gubrash studied abroad. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has wavy brown hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Faran embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When Faran reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Drifting lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
