The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Spear hails from a village terrorized by giants. Spear liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to share knowledge with the world
