His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: Rolen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
