History: Aelar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and doesn't want to be a performer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Born in the east to a Shipwright, Conrad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Cory was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Apothecary. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the south
