In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shamash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Thorpe reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now mingles about in high society.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker father left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
