History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Norman liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Ratbag hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ratbag grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ratbag. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
