History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Mugrunden and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burto fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When Barfa reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
