History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Elaim was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Jeweler for the past few years.
