Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alston does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Alston learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When Alston reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He became a Sage soon after.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Nalral was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nalral's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
