Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cairn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Cairn was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by his family

History: Aura was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and wants his loneliness to end
