History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
