Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Dagger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
