Description: He stands about 3'7" and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to clean up the streets

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Umpen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Gifted from a young age, Umpen studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears long strands of amethyst and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His hair is long and black with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Cory was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Seamstress. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy auburn stubble. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a hunchback. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fargas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Halfling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Bookbinder soon after.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
