History: Nicor hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Nicor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Az-Bror and his spouse have recently divorced.
