History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Shifting was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shifting's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Ar-Baruk was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
