History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Howard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His first spouse was a Gardener, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Ortegar and his spouse have recently divorced.
