History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Burgell is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Roofer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 16. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bellfounder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
