Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Qemuel never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oskar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oskar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oskar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Nutae was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.
