History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Bathin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Banker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a deep hatred of illithids
