History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Roger enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Roger was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roger decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gale was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gale's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and regain custody of his son
