This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Hunter soon after.

Heartbroken, Gerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
