History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
