Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thervan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lubash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Arannis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and many dire rats want him driven away
