History: Qualen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Fisher born in the past three hundred years. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fisher. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: Born to a Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Cloud was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Cloud decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
