Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Ahvain was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with his Dyer father left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Navigator born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the west to a Herbalist, Paymon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a Herbalist soon after.
