Description: 5'1" and muscular, this western man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is purple and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Balam hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his red robe. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He stands about 6'6" and likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is cut short. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Efferil was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
