Through the years after Oppleby was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oppleby's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west to a Adventurer, Mamnen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and balancing his hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult
