History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Iados was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Iados alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Iados never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
