History: Eberdeb hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eberdeb grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eberdeb. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
