Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a green tunic with black highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. He keeps his long red fur kept up in a rat tail. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fragrant grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fragrant. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Eberdeb lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with black slacks. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Bundrigo lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother
