He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born into a rich family. Howard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Howard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
