History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Oppleby's homeland. Oppleby decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He tends to wear a large brown jacket, and carries kukris. His fur, while still mostly beige, has prominent grey streaks. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beast fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Gardener does, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
