History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valafar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His first spouse was a Healer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
