History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

History: Born in the east to a Baker, Pelt learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Pelt was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Pelt's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
