History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Bernard was a troubled youth. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Hamil hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
