History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Curran speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Curran lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is golden and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.
