History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Broce grew up listening to his father's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
