Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rivaan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
