History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Alvyn took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Farmer.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and sabotage a competitor

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
