History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: This late middle aged man wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time and is in decent physical shape. His white hair is singed and shortened. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Scribe business.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Wobbles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Oppleby was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oppleby fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
