Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Manfred was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Erdan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Erdan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Elegant was born the youngest of three triplets. He worked as a nervous Blacksmith and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his painting dream.
