Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aura grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aura. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'3" and sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He has no hair. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to work out more often

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time. He has wavy auburn hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eldon grew up listening to his father's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Eldon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to share knowledge with the world

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is content
