History: He was born in a small island village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratbag fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in trident use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Elegant embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zaffrab embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Zaffrab and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the south
