Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a Knight, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and money/treasure

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: He is a mite stocky and dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a very tight haircut. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Rolf speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
