Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his kukri with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are red and catlike.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Cressel took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: 4'9" and muscular, this northern man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Fivin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Fivin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and seeks redemption
