Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barkeep, and he later adopted a second daughter.
