He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is blonde and curly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Frederick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Frederick was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barrister. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Xappan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
