History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rurik grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Rurik was a troubled youth. Personality: Raer is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Clerebold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
