Personality: He is happy with his job as a Server. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the east to a Server, Berrian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Berrian took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hand crossbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Emerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time. His red hair is thinning but still full. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a worn and beaten armor. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Kellen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
